GLP-1 Weight Loss Medication Support
Nutrition, strength and lifestyle coaching for people taking Mounjaro, Wegovy and other prescribed weight management medications.
I do not prescribe, supply or manage weight loss medication. My role is to provide nutrition, movement and lifestyle coaching alongside the care you receive from your prescribing healthcare professional.
Making the Most of Your Treatment
GLP-1-based medications, including Mounjaro, Wegovy and Saxenda, can be valuable tools for weight management. You may also have heard of Ozempic, which is licensed in the UK for type 2 diabetes.
But while medication can help reduce appetite and support weight loss, it doesn't automatically change our habits, behaviours or relationship with food.
I believe treatment can also provide an opportunity to make positive changes to the way we eat, move, think and look after ourselves.
How Can I Help You?
My approach brings together nutrition, movement and behaviour change coaching, recognising that our physical health and emotional wellbeing are closely connected.
Depending on your needs, we might explore:
Nutrition: Getting enough protein, fibre and essential nutrients, particularly when your appetite is reduced, alongside hydration and balanced eating.
Strength and movement: Maintaining muscle during weight loss and developing an enjoyable, realistic approach to exercise.
Eating habits and behaviours: Understanding emotional eating, habitual snacking, cravings, all-or-nothing thinking and the patterns that influence your choices.
Mindset and motivation: Exploring beliefs, expectations, self-talk and what helps you stay consistent when motivation comes and goes.
Confidence and identity: Exploring how changes in your body might affect how you see yourself, your confidence, relationships and sense of identity.
Long-term habits: Building routines and behaviours that support your health, whether you continue medication or eventually stop under medical supervision.
More Than Weight Loss — Who Are You Becoming?
Losing weight can bring physical changes, but it can also raise some interesting questions about how we see ourselves.
Perhaps you've spent years identifying as someone who struggles with their weight. Perhaps your confidence is changing, other people are responding to you differently, or you're beginning to think about what you want from this next chapter of your life.
Sometimes our self-image takes a little longer to catch up with physical change.
Through coaching, we can explore these shifts, along with the beliefs, habits and stories we tell ourselves.
What does feeling healthier mean to you? What would you like to be able to do? What kind of relationship do you want with food, exercise and your body?
The aim isn't simply to change what you weigh, but to help you build a way of living that reflects who you are and who you want to become.
How Does Coaching Work?
We'll start by discussing your goals, current eating and activity habits, and what you're finding challenging.
Depending on your needs, we may use food diaries, practical nutrition guidance, goal setting and regular check-ins.
We'll also explore the behaviours, motivations and circumstances behind your choices, identifying realistic changes that fit your life.
My role is to listen, support, encourage and provide accountability — helping you develop the confidence and skills to make sustainable changes for yourself.
An Important Note About Medication
I do not prescribe, supply, recommend or manage GLP-1 or other weight loss medications. I cannot advise on medication suitability, dosage, side effects or changes to treatment.
All medical decisions remain with your prescribing healthcare professional. My coaching complements rather than replaces medical care. Where appropriate, I may recommend additional support from your GP, registered dietitian or another qualified healthcare professional.
