About Me
My name is Louisa Freisenbruch (pronounced Freeze-en-brook) and I am a mother of 3 teenagers. I lived in Bermuda for 23 years and am now settled in the beautiful North Dorset countryside.
Growing up in a family of squash players, I have had a lifelong passion for sport and exercise. I have played a variety sports throughout my life, including tennis, hockey, squash, badminton and cricket. I still play tennis 3-4 times per week and play both recreationally and competitive league tennis.
I do regular strength training and have been doing pilates for over 10 years. For me, the variety of doing pilates, strength training, tennis, running and walking is what keeps me motivated and energised – I always priortise some sort of movement everyday. As well as the physical health benefits of exercise, I love the social interaction and am on an endless quest for progress and improvement. In addition, the mental health benefits for me are huge - it helps relieve stress, anxiety and is a generally huge mood booster due to the endorphins released.
My ethos is that it’s so important to find something you enjoy – or ideally a variety of things. If it’s a struggle, you won’t stick to it - there is something out there for everyone! I will of course train people of any age, but given I am of a particular age myself, I do have a special interest in women entering peri-menopause and menopause.
I truly love helping people, motivating and encouraging them, as well as sharing my technical experience so that they get the most out of the exercise. I will certainly push my clients but I am also mindful that exercising it’s not easy for everyone, nor does it come naturally. Whether you are a lifelong exerciser like me, or you are completely new to it and haven’t done one day of exercise in your life – I can help you. Be it Pilates or Strength and Fitness training or a combination of all of them “Fusion Training”, we will work together to create something to suit you.
