Nutrition Coaching - available online or in person

Knowing what to do is often the easy bit. Doing it is harder.

We’re surrounded by information about nutrition – what to eat, what not to eat and the latest diet or health trend. Sometimes, too much information simply leaves us overwhelmed and unsure where to start. The result is either we make no changes, or we make changes only to fall back into our previous habits.

Nutrition coaching helps you cut through the noise and turn what you know into realistic changes that work for you in everyday life. It is not a one size fits all approach.

Together, we’ll look at your current eating habits, your goals and, importantly, what might be getting in the way. This could be lack of time or planning, all-or-nothing thinking, emotional or habitual eating, snacking, portion sizes, simply struggling to stay consistent or generally feeling overwhelmed by things you read or hear and you just don’t know where to start.

My approach isn’t about strict diets or being perfect or telling you what to do. It’s about listening to you and collaboratively making manageable changes you can actually maintain.

How can I help you?

Depending on your goals, we might work on balanced meals, protein and fibre, hunger and fullness, portion awareness, meal timing, planning, hydration and creating healthier habits around food.

But nutrition coaching isn't just about what you eat. It is so much more than that. We’ll also explore the habits, behaviours and mindset that influence how and why you eat.

GLP-1 Support

I believe GLP-1 medications can be an incredibly valuable tool for weight management when appropriately prescribed and medically supervised. But the thing that excites me most is they can also provide a real opportunity to make positive changes to the way we eat, move and look after our health.

Rather than relying on the medication simply to suppress appetite while everything else stays the same, I can help you use this time to build healthier, sustainable habits around food and exercise – habits that can support you both now and in the longer term.

Because GLP-1s can significantly reduce appetite, it’s also really important to think about the quality of what you are eating, not just how much. Together we can work on getting enough protein, fibre, fruit and vegetables and maintaining good hydration, alongside looking at the benefits of strength training to help preserve muscle mass.

The aim isn’t perfection or another restrictive diet. It’s about using the opportunity GLP-1 treatment can provide to improve your nutrition, become stronger and establish habits that support your long-term health.

Note: I don't prescribe or manage GLP-1 medication. Any questions about medication, dosage or side effects should be discussed with your prescriber.
