Career & Professional Development

Being good at something doesn't automatically mean you have to keep doing it.

Are you happy in your current role, or beginning to wonder whether there's something else you'd rather be doing?

Perhaps you're considering a career change, returning to work after a break, preparing for an interview or simply feeling that your working life no longer reflects what's important to you.

Sometimes we need practical help to take the next step. Other times, we need the space to work out what that next step might be.

Whether you're looking for a new opportunity or questioning your current direction, I can help you explore your options and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.

My Professional Background

Before moving into health, wellbeing and coaching, I spent many years working in recruitment and executive search, specialising in the insurance and reinsurance industries in London and Bermuda.

This gave me valuable insight into how employers assess candidates, what makes people stand out and how important it is to recognise and communicate your strengths.

I also understand that career decisions aren't always straightforward. What you're good at, what you enjoy and what you want from life aren't necessarily the same thing.

How Can I Help?

Depending on your circumstances, I offer both practical career support and a more exploratory coaching approach.

Practical Career Support

  • CV writing and applications — presenting your skills, experience and achievements effectively.

  • Interview preparation — building confidence, preparing for questions and communicating your strengths.

  • Personal presentation — making a positive first impression and presenting yourself professionally and authentically.

  • Skills and strengths — recognising your abilities, achievements and transferable skills.

  • Returning to work — rebuilding confidence and identifying opportunities after a career break.

Career Coaching & Personal Development

  • Career direction and change — exploring whether to stay, move jobs or pursue something different.

  • Job satisfaction and fulfilment — understanding what motivates you, what you enjoy and what might be missing.

  • Values and priorities — reassessing what's important to you and whether your working life reflects those values.

  • Confidence and self-belief — recognising your potential and exploring what's holding you back.

  • Work-life balance — considering how your career fits alongside your health, relationships, family and personal wellbeing.

Looking at the Bigger Picture

Our careers can become a significant part of our identity. But as life changes, so can our priorities.

This can be particularly relevant in midlife, when changing family circumstances, menopause, relationships or simply a different outlook can prompt us to reassess what we want from our working years.

You might discover that you're ready for a completely new direction. Equally, a change in responsibilities, working environment or boundaries might make all the difference.

My approach combines practical recruitment experience with the reflective principles of coaching, helping you explore not just what you could do, but what you actually want to do.

Because a fulfilling working life isn't necessarily about climbing higher. It's about finding a direction that feels right for you.
